Elections Day

No School in honor to our veterans.

Educational Trip: 

At WCA, we refer to field trips as Educational Trips. Students engage in a STEM program and a guided tour.

Date: November 13 

Destination: Flagler Museum

Participants: 4^th to 8^th graders, no parents

This will be a guided tour, and we expect full attendance. After the trip, students will complete a graded 100-word reflective essay on their experience. For safety, we will charter a bus to transport students to and from the campus. Departure from campus is at 9 a.m., with an expected return by 2 p.m. The cost is $20 per student; please send payment via Zelle or drop it off at the front office. 

Students should wear their WCA Spirit Shirt. Shirts are available for purchase for $15 if needed. We will provide snacks, however, please pack your child’s lunch in a disposable container (Ziplock bag – no lunchboxes). Also, ensure your child has a good breakfast before arriving at school.  For more information about our educational field trips, please visit the WCA website. On November 22, Friday, we will be having our 2nd annual Thanksgiving International Potluck Feast. 

It's a fun event for people to showcase their heritage through food.  

This event is for all of our student Kindergarten through 8th grade.  

Your child will not need to pack lunch that day.  

Parents are invited to join the festivity.
